Local 3, IBEW Training Center
When Local 3, IBEW elected to utilize more green energy, they contracted Arcadia Electrical to install their solar energy. As a result of the surrounding buildings and the amount of space available on the 2,000 square foot training center’s roof, the project had unique design and engineering needs. Arcadia Electrical designed a system at 90 degrees, instead of the standard flat system and created vertical wall mounts. The display is now highly visible from the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and the Long Island Expressway. By using innovative design practices and the latest solar technology, Arcadia Electrical was able to help the training center become more energy efficient.
