Brooklyn Museum

Arcadia Electrical successfully completed the Grand Hall Phase 3 project at the Brooklyn Museum. Working around priceless art in an historical setting created unique challenges that were addressed with Arcadia Electrical’s attention to detail, professionalism and continuous client communication procedures.

Arcadia Electrical installed all lighting fixtures and finishes and performed a complete lighting upgrade, including state-of-the-art Lutron dimming control panels. In addition, Arcadia Electrical installed the security and fire alarm systems. Arcadia Electrical worked collaboratively with museum staff to ensure exhibits and guests were not disturbed during the renovation.

Extra care was given to avoid disturbing areas that were not closed off, and Arcadia Electrical ensured art located in adjoining areas was not disturbed. The timely completion of each project phase allowed all previously scheduled exhibitions to proceed without delay, and the museum remained open to the public during renovations.
